kitchen hand and program coordinator...
yes, I did get up at 6 to go Christmas baking... we didn't leave at 6:50 though... running a bit late. Just got home a few minutes ago. Had a good time and am slowly getting into Christmas mood (it's about time with only a few days before Christmas left).
So, as Arne has already written, we've been to Melbourne again a few times and I finished my first full week of work yesterday. I started working as kitchen hand which I didn't particularly like but it was a good experience. My job included rinsing dishes, stacking them onto plastic baskets, putting them through the dish washer, emtying them again and cleaning the kitchen at night. The hardest thing for me about this job was walking around as I didn't have proper working boots and just slided throu the kitchen trying not to fall over, especially not when carrying dishes around! After only three shifts I quit again because I had found a job in an office in Mt Eliza. So within a week I worked my way up from kitchen hand to program coordinator! I quite enjoy my new job, although the first days were a bit boring at times as no one had time to teach me anything and I had to find some kind of work...
Apart from that, there's not much new here. hopefully the weather will be nice for Christmas and the following week. I get the week off between Christmas and New Year's which will be nice and I'm already looking forward to that even though I only started working a few days ago and enjoy it...
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas
